Welcome to old and new members!
Walking boots or stout shoes, plus sensible outdoor wear are recommended. All walks are reasonably easy (5-6 miles). Please bring a packed lunch. A friendly, healthy walk in lovely areas is our aim! Members attend events at their own risk.
We normally meet on the 2nd
and 4th Tuesdays in the month, but note that the first
walk is the 1st Tuesday in October.
Meet at "Wicks" car park, Dewsbury at 10.00 a.m. or go direct to the start of the walk. Transport from "Wicks" car park is available for those who do not drive. The suggested individual cost for non-drivers is indicated with each walk.

Bradley Circular: 5 Miles £1
'Wicks' 10.00am or 10.40 Quarry Road, above garage near Bradley traffic lights. Comments: a nice easy walk
Tuesday, October 26th. Skipton Circular: 6½ miles £3
'Wicks' 9.30am or trains to Leeds 9.35/ Mirfield/Dewsbury/Batley. Change for Skipton (details available)
Comments: Easy, wonderful walk. Not to be missed.
Tuesday, November 9th Kirkburton & Shelley 5½ miles £2
'Wicks' 10.00am or 10.40 Kirkburton - car park opposite church. Comments Moderate to easy, and pleasant.
Tuesday, November 23rd Mirfield to Upper heaton 6 miles £1
'Wicks' 10.00 or 10.30am Ha'penny Bridge. Comments: Unusual industrial views

2 hours walk, before drive to Golf Club. Comments: An annual favourite, not to be missed
